Rear caliper

Have removed rear caliper and mount but can’t get silver section to release anyone any ideas/pics, in the process of Complete overall.

There’s the main brake body housing the pistons and pads the silver section has two rubber boots and bolts direct to shaft arm frame

I checked my GT and I see what you are talking about. I think that on the caliper, there are rubber caps on the pins. Pop off the cap on the other side of the retaining pin and I think there is a Torx bolt underneath to separate the caliper so you can install the seals.

Use brake caliper grease on the pins under the seals going back together. You will see where.

It screws into the silver coloured bracket and is covered with a rubber boot didn’t come completely out, it’s the other pic how to separate that rubber boot.

Got me on that one. I never had to do seals on the calipers.
