12k Service

My bike is in the shop for it's 12k service as we speak...

The service manage told me it was 150 miles away from needing the valve check, so their gonna go ahead and do it. $200 but it includes a coolant change...not bad. If they have to adjust any, it's another $100.

This is the first S/R they've checked the valves on, so wish me luck!

I'll let you guys know the total when I get it back.

I did mine at 13500 miles and the computer has shown another 13500 before valve adjustment, so go figure......

Back from the dealer...

Total was just shy of $400 usd including synthetic oil change.

Valves were 150 miles away from needing to be checked, so they did it.

Valve's were fine and within spec' - he mentoined the exhaust valves were
closer to needing adjustment than the intake valves. Coolant changed as well, as apparently, that needs to be done when the valve's get checked...

Brake pads were fine also.

Nothing else jumped out that I can think of...

O'h well, lets do another 12k and see what happens?
