Air Pump / Exhaust Popping

On the K S/R is there an air pump or pulsed induction of air into the exhaust to burn waste fuel in the exhaust ? Is it possible losing this circuit on the K S/R could provide more reliable air / fuel ratio information for dyno tuners and perhaps reduce or eliminate some of the popping. Standard mod for the superbikes and GSXR1000s is to blank off any aux air into the exhaust and just run the crankcase breather into the airbox.

Ken,

Is there anything that can be done to correct the extra fuel issue?

maybe - i'm expecting something in the next few days (from an electronics friend of mine) that might solve the issue.
