Ticking - Valves?

This weekend went to my Dad's place (South GA - 150 miles from my house in Atlanta - 300 mile round trip). Tank got me there but had to fill up to get back, stopped in Talbotton GA for Gaz, filled her up and headed home straight no stops. Man this bike can track 80 miles an hour on the Highway like a champ.

Anyway this morning got on the bike to come to work and while on stop lights I hear the bike ticking, tick tick tick, right there below me, hear on both sides. Defenetly valves, although Kawaie Nomads have that tick and they say is the Fuel Injectors, I think its valves.

Anyway never heard this before, bike is performing flawless other than the ticking, I am thinking the Premium Gazoline I tanked in Talbotton GA must either NOT have been Premium or it was crap gaz. Tank is almost empty I am tank some good Chevron Premium with Techron, might even drop some octane booster in the tank to see if the ticking goes away.

Any of you have experienced that?

I think it was Gaz

Ran the bike yesterday until the numbers read 10 miles to empty tank.

Tanked up some good ol Chevron Premium with Techron. Ran home and dropped what I can say was MAYBE 1/4 of a cup of octane booster and a 1/4 of a cup of fuel injector cleaner, ran it hard up and down GA 400 until it dead ends, about 60 miles round trip.

Ticking is GONE!!!!!!.
