Factory alarm - good or bad?

Is it worth having? Work properly? Does it drain the battery?

It's really a waste because the bike will not start without the factory key. The keys are coded to each bike. Save your money and spend it on something else.

The alarm has a motion sensor so can detect if anyone decide to roll it onto their trailer, tilt it to one side, or nudge your bike. If these features are of use to you, then go for it. I have it and have had no problem with false alarm or drained battery.
