Hi all, after a year of owning a bike that must have the loudest gearchange in the world I am moving forums, I found the 1st, 2nd and 3rd noise to much, it finally came to a head when my collegue follwing in a car with the windows up commented on the clunking noise (I was even running with a Remus can with the DB killer out). I had to stay in the same gear pass graveyards so that I did not wake the dead!

I think it may be to do with the fact the clutch needed replacing and that it was one of the first K12S's (Spetember 2004). So it went into the dealer to have the clutch assembly replaced yesterday.

And I bought a metalic silver K1200R to replace it! ABS, Heated Grips, ESA, Sports wheels, clear lenses and a larger screen all for £1500.00 off list. But the gearchange is Soooooo sweet compared to my K12S.

So not going far, and my experiance did not put me off the breed, what an engine!

Can't say that I wouldn't do the same given the circumstances. Congratulations and Godspeed, enjoy your new R.
