Muffler for a new K12

I'm in the market for a muffler for my K12R Sport. Amber at Pirate's Lair told me that except for the Remus Powercone, which is the loudest, the other systems are comparable noise and performance-wise. So it comes down to price and aesthetics. So I guess I'm wondering about opinions of those with the aftermarket systems. I am considering the Remus oval, Two Brothers, Leo Vince and Staintune systems.

Staintune claims about twice the hp gain from the other slipons...no idea if it is hype or true.

So the "Aftermarket Exhaust" thread that's been going for the last couple of days (with lots of opinions, AND photos) was no help at all?

Sorry, I've been following those threads on several forums but thought putting it in the more generalized K12 discussion might bring opinions from S, GT, R and R-S owners. I try to be thorough before dropping the big $$$.

Iz all good......Being that I've run/experienced several different 'cans' on my bike, I might suggest the Laser HotCam. Sounds good and it's very easy to install. If ya go to Jerry's (Pirate's) site you'll be able to listen to the sound clip they have of a bike on a dyno run. My "seat of the pants" dyno told me that I had a nice lower and mid-range power/torque increase, not to mention ridding yourself of thirty pounds of ugly, non-performing bulk. They're all pretty equal, that's just my experience. I'm currently running a heavily cut down/modified LeoVince SBK that I really like, but it's very loud (it's pretty much "gutted"). Have at it, just don't over analyze it....you're wasting riding time!
