Hi Guys, I have been to the TT and watched 6 times and was invited to ride a Norton Commando in a parade lap too, but my main claim to fame is, I have raced in the Manx TT 4 times, hooooooooorah, scary but adrenalin and fear are good one to keep you going, you have to concentrate so bloody hard that it's not unknown to loose weight by swetting lol
Port Erin, Port St Mary they both have nice beaches and great Ice cream, Castletown, Douglas Prom for the buzz and night life....you wont get much sleep but it all happens there lol. And of course there is Ramsey, the sprint race and the night life is good.
You could allways try some of the guest houses around the course much quiter until somebody comes past at 150mph on a balde or gsxr lol
Enjoy, I did but ride within your means and dont let the bike take control and the big thing is......KEEP TO THE LEFT!....watch yer speed in built up areas, if it says 30, do thirty, not 31 or 32, mobile courts and fines will be available if you dont! And just because there are no speed limits elswhere you dont have to do 160 everywhere, remember there will be thousands of like minded bikers there and some will be pissed and others will be on the wrong sode of the road! MAINLY GERMANS!
Enjoy it take loads piccies and above all have fun
Andy.............Ps: My Bike I raced was a Yoshimura GSXR 1170k...bloody quick lol.
