Bike I want is in FL...but I live in MN!

Hello all. I've been lurking here for a while now, and this is my first post. I currently own a beautiful BMW Cruiser (champagne...not necessarily the fastest color, but definitely the most bubbly personality), which I have absolutely no desire to part with. However, I do have an itch to add a running mate to the stable.

I've been prowling the various on-line classifieds and may have found what I'm looking for. The problem is I live in Minnesota, and the bike (03K1200GT) is located in St. Augustine FL. I was hoping to find a fellow enthusiast who doesn't live too far from the seller who wouldn't mind giving the bike a once over for me...maybe take it for a test ride and give me your impressions. I've talked to the seller, who sounds like a very reasonable guy. I have no reason not to believe what he has told me about the GT, but I just can't see myself spending that kind of cash on a bike based just on pictures and a few phone calls...and I can't see myself flying all the way to down there just to go for a test ride either. However, if I could get an opinion from unbiased third party, it would certainly help me make the decision.

PM me if you think you can help me out.

Thanks

Alright I see it really is far, I cant take my master mechanic boss but my boss from my other work who has been a biker since 20 and is 50 right now can go take a look at it. He is in the vending business, goes up there often.

This may be my dumbest post ever, if so please excuse me.
You do know that a 03 KGT and new KGT are different? Same name. Different bike. If I am wrong, then this is my bad.
