Exclamation Autoswitch

Hello, Does anyone have experience with the Autoswitch product? It sounds great; if you just need this "one" switch more and you do not want to ruin your cockpit.

I installed one on my previous bike to control the PIAAs. The switch worked great, the installation instructions were a little off but fairly easy to figure out.

Thnx for the feedback. Did you use any additional relays or did you switch your equipment directly with Autoswitch?

The Autoswitch must control a relay. It's contact rating is too low for any direct control.

Tracing out the turn signal wire took the longest in my instillation.

Autoswitch make two switches for the BMW. One is a "push 'n hold", the other is a "click twice", the choice is yours.

I've got two of them on my '04 Gt.
One for the motolights and the low-beam xenon conversion, each with their own relay, wired to a Painless 7 circuit fuse block.
Push and hold 2 sec for these.
The other for the garage door opener.
Double tap for this.
One Autoswitch can be used for multiple items, since the voltage draw is just to "tickle" the relay for the appliance.
Here's a link to Cycle Gadget's site describing the different models.

Look in the photo gallery under my login and you will see how I mounted the led's.
Top one is green when headlight/motolights are on.
The bottom flashes red when you single tap to turn off turn signal, flashes green when you double tap to activate the garage door opener.

Yep, I've used one on my last 2 LTs to trigger my PIAAs. Works like a charm, I would use it again in a heartbeat.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know if that have onw that works on the Can-Bus bikes?

EDIT - Never mind. I guess I should read the lins first.
