Ya know? Maybe it's just me, but that opening post is out-of-line. 1st post for that user, and they start out bitching about the response of one rider to a wave. And basically blankets all HD riders as being the same kind of rider. Yeah, you're going to be welcomed to that community with open arms?

IMNSHO, totally wrong. Called out as a troll, and I think it's a good call. Change the "Harley-Davidson" to "BMW", post it here, and you'd get pretty much the same response.

You get that with baiting.

I tend to agree with Ray, somewhat. However, how many times have you seen or even heard of complaints of a BMW or Honda or whatever riders, snubbing other riders. I used to ride a Honda VTX 1800 and it was amazing, the amount of rude unnecessary crap that I got, from, you guessed it.... I always just went on about my business and tried to ignore it, but it does get a little old after a while.

They banned him as a TROLL and all responses to his post were negative. Looks like they handled him well.

Your post title is painting with a wide brush there. Betcha I'm not the only member here with an HD product (VRSCR in my case) in the garage alongside my BMW. How's it benefit this forum to try to stir up trash?

I have a 07 Goldwing and a 56 Harley Panhead beside my 91 75RT. I wave at everyone, but don't get upset if they don't wave back.

And half the time the non-wavers are too busy dealing with traffic, at least on the slabs around here. Maybe the Harley guy was flipping off the guy that flipped off the rider too busy waving to notice everyone was flipping everyone else off.

Thumbs down Why wave? Looks kind of stupid pointing your finger down at the road !

Put me in the a-hole column.
I don't wave at anybody while ridding my bike, same as when I am driving a car!

Although I can say that some Harley riders don't wave back, I can also say that some BMW, Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, etc., riders also don't wave back... More often than not I'll get a nod some other affirmation of the greeting from just about everyone. AND worse of all, I've missed an occasional wave in my direction... To any of you that I missed...
