Sorry 'bout the mistake keithb...i sit corrected.
Looking forward to meeting as many fellow motorcyclists as possible while there.

Ya know, just about anything can show up at these events, from current bikes like SCBMWRC will have on hand to Vintage 'n Classic bikes(collectable bikes >30yo). Cars are OK but bikes stir the soul. ;-)

Brian Bell at Irv Seaver BMW told me about the Huntington Beach Concours when I visited last Thursday afternoon (22 May 2008).

Brian told me that his dad, Evan Bell, loves to restore old BMW motorcycles, and has won several 1st places (the last three years in a row) in his category at the prestigious Concours d'Elegance.

I hope to be there with my family, but other circumstances may prevent it.

H.B. Concours event

Evan has a beautiful stable of restored bikes. Most notably a 1932 restored bike I believe. He brought 2 or 3 of them to our Big Bear Rally last year and the attendees loved it. I hope a bunch of you stop by and say hello. This should be a fun event.
