Question Enduro boots and motocross

boots? What's the difference if any?

It's been a long long time since I practiced any dirt riding, but back in the day the big difference was the sole. Motocross boots had fairly slick soles so you would plant your foot on the ground and slide it through a corner.

Enduro boots had a sole similar to hiking boots so that you could get grip on the ground if you needed to plant your foot and hold the bike up while riding through knarly trails.

Protection wise they both offered the same.

I booked a BMW enduro training 2-day course in Hechlingen for September - they demand enduro-class protection. So I am puzzled by by the variety of choices on the market. Besides the BMW there are a lot of Alpinstars and other makes models.
