Talking Short Way Down

Well to keep a long story short; moved her from Oregon in late June waited 2 months to get household goods and bikes via a 22' container and waited another month to clear customs and all the governmental registration paperwork hoops.
Well, last weekend finally had the opportunity to go on a short weekend ride to the southern tip of England "Land's End." The ride was great except the temps were subfreezing, so the electric vest and heated grips were at their limits, but it was great to get out on the road again.

Welcome to the UK Alex!!
Just came across your post, I remember reading that you were planning to move over here, glad you and your bike made it across in one piece!!
You really should think about doing long way up now, get yourself up here to Scotland next spring or summer. Easily some of the best roads in the UK, dead quiet with few police on them. I'm the first to admit the weather can be questionable sometimes but even when its rainng the scenery is stunning.
