Photorally 2009 Ireland

Prize giving for the '08 event was last Saturday night in Mullingar (midlands) and the 2009 list was handed out
4 of us drove up, all Bmw's, stayed overnight, heavy snow overnight, 2 of us eventually drove back to Cork doing 2 of the 2009 list on the way, 350km

That road or parking lot does not look to promising unless you intend to crash.

no doubt, i can hardly drive a vehicle with four wheels in those conditions. i can hardly ride a two wheeled vehicle in good conditions.

Fair enough, the road outside the hotel was just slush, clear where cars had passed, 20 miles down the road was fine, trip to Cork was about 200 miles, not that stupid

Proper gear, several layers of light clothing, good thermals, riding in the cold is not a problem, ice however is
