Paint Repair Shop

A couple of issues ago (this summer) in Motorcyclist magizine, there was an article about a shop that does motorcycle paint matching and repair. It seems to me that it was located in Tennesee or the mid-west area. Does any one remenber this article? I need to get my riding buddies saddlebag repaired.

Thanks,

Randy

I don't know why motorcycle body repair would be any different than auto. A lot of places can computer match paint. They just have to do the right surface prep.

There is a shop that says they do matching in Ohio...Lancaster or somewhere in Southern Ohio. They advertise in BMWON. But, I can't imagine that you can't find someone locally or in the closest major city to do it...especially where you are.

I agree, any good body shop should be able to do an excellent job. If you want paint info contact:

I have had several painted parts redone by local body shops and several by the WARK Shop (see BMWON). The quaility of paint AND the quality of workmanship is evident in all that have been done by the WARK Shop.

The proof in this is that the COLOR AND SURFACE FINISH of the repainted part MATCHES the other parts PERFECTLY. Typically because the m/c painter - be it the WARK Shop or Holt, they use the SAME paint the factory uses. Not some color-matched DuPont product.
