Engine replacement? At least it's not BMW.

Aprilla has decided to replace the complete engine on all the RSV4 bikes (inc. the Factory model). That's got to hurt, but at least they step up and act quickly. From what I gather, appears it is connecting rod failure.

Funny at the press release recently, something like 6 engines failed.

Magazines were told it ONLY affected the press bikes due to a bad batch of con rods and the production bike were OK.

Yeah, right!
