Even though I live in the U.S. (California), I turned to Motobins to order Optimoly TA paste.

Optimoly TA paste is the BMW-recommended lube for the final drive splines, the muffler ball joint, and the front axle, among other things. As far as I know, it is unavailable here in the U.S., so I ordered it from them (part # 95805). Motobins was super helpful and super responsive via email, and the product took less than 2 weeks to arrive in California. It isn't cheap, so I put together a group order for a few friends here to save on shipping.
