ST1300 Replacement

Honda will be replacing the ST1300 with a touring version of the VFR1200 (VFR 1200T)
I'm sure it will be available with the dual clutch transmission and may be an attractive alternative for some BMW owners.

This rumour and those photoshop/autocad pics have been kicking around for over a year.
I have been asking my local dealer down here in Oz and as recently as a couple of weeks ago they have heard nothing.
The bike market is pretty depressed here and they are having trouble moving the VFR1200F at the price they are.
Have you heard anything more definitive?

My dealer (for what it's worth) said that the ST1300 is definitely being discontinued and that the touring version of the vfr would be its replacement. That's the only information I have and must say it makes sense that Honda would do that. I didn't realize the pics and the rumor had been circulating that long.

I am ready to replace my GT and would be very very interested in one of these things in ST rig.

I will just keep asking and hoping.

I cant say that I find the K1600 appealing and I dont know if Im ready to submit to a R1200.

Hey don't make any rash decisions here. I will be beta testing a 1600 just for you. Personally I think that red GT is gorgeous and as I will be over the big 5 O just before it becomes available seems the perfect ride. LOL

Hope you are well in rain sodden Queensland. Who would believe it.

Cheers.
