New K owner here

Hello Folks!
new here and just wanted to introduce myself. Just bought a "present to myself" this weekend. A 1998 K1200RS w/ 58k on the clock. Dealer completed 60k service before the sale, so I am good to go for about 12K(excepting fluid changes).
She has front and rear Olins, headlight guard, bar up and backs, tank bag, corbin canyon saddle and new Metzler Z6`s. A few minor scratches but otherwise pretty cherry. Paid $3,100.00!
I love that the PO kept impeccable service records and was spot on with all of them.

Great bike -

The Flying Brick engine is about bullet proof - and loves to run at higher RPMs....so few of us really run these the way they were designed to be ridden! 90 MPH in third is a hoot!

When I had my 85 K100...

Had more advanced technology than many new Harleys!

My 2004 is a lunar landing device in comparison to a Harley!
