new spot for OEM parts

I was checking out different aftermarket oil filters for the mighty K. After cruising the internet during lunch I found that bikebandit.com is now carring all the BMW parts... complete parts fische and everything. Cheaper prices to boot!

Has anyone tried a K&N or FRAM oil filter? There has been discussion before, but I haven't heard anything regarding this issue. Someone did mention there was an anti-backflow valve, wonder if this is true.

Go to www.turbodieselregister.com and do a search on filters... They have a long thread with pix about many different filters. The only Cummins that I know of that burned up was because the spray nozzle to the bottom of the piston clogged...

Fram was by far the worst filter in the test..Check valve is made of card board, very cheap filter.........Regards Pete
