Waiting for the new BMW Toy.

I can honestly say there are a dozen new bikes and 5 or 6 new BMWs that I would buy tomorrow. I have two young boys and always have to leave one home if I go riding with the other on my bike. After months of looking for the right bike (toy) to add to the stable, I stumbled across this classic beauty. The rig started out as a 1981 R100. The kit is a 1990 EML GT. A full frame, suspension, rims (15"), and two person sidecar. Too cool for a 25 year old bike. The paperwork to import a motorcycle from Canada is a pain in the rear, but I must have it. It should arrive around the first of May to So. Cal. if all goes well. Two bright red BMWs. At least I don't need new riding gear. Rockstore, here I come.

Congratulations! EML is a company that started in the seventies and makes good looking as well as technical very nice sidecars. You can check their site and see the sidecar they made for a Honda 1800 - two wheels, with the front wheel steering with the front wheel of the bike.

regards, Frits.

If you can laugh at your own stupidities, you have fun all year round!

Cool

I.ve done as much research as I can on EML sidecars. Very nice product line. The trunk will hold six cases of imported beer. I wonder if a pony keg will fit? Yummmmm
