N+1: My brick!

Hi all!

I was once told that the right amount of motorbikes for a person to own is a very simple formula: N+1. Where 'N' is the current amount of bike you have.

Here's my +1.
An american delivered, imported to Australia 1987 K100RT!
For the great price of $200 with a missing oil/water pump she's all mine.

Plans down the track are a street fighter build to match my 1989 E30 that's about 99% complete.

A few questions though, does anyone recognise the screen or seat? I'll be off loading them soon and can't locate similar ones anywhere!

Thanks in advance

Hi db_

nice pickup for $200

The seat, It looks like a Corbin, or maybe a Sargeant... both US aftermarket seats.
Screen... NFI.

Hope the project goes well... watch out for your shins on those fairing-lowers... they hurt!
(used to have a K75RT with the same fairings)

The formula for the correct amount of motorcycles to own is indeed N +1, where N is the number of machines currently owned. However, there is another formula to be considered: the correct number of bikes to own is D - 1, where D is the number of bikes that will bring about divorce proceedings.

Owning and riding a 1998 BMW K1200RS with 84,000 miles on the clock. Owning and restoring an ex-Police 1992 BMW K1100LT.
