The F1 probably comes close to or exceeds the HP/weight of a bike. Then it has the advantage of flat tire footprint, very low center of gravity and much better aerodynamics.

An F1 car with driver must weigh a MINIMUM of 600 kgs. The wet chassis actually weighs significantly less than that and ballast is added to A) adjust the cars fore/aft balance B) bring it up to minimum weight. The chassis is made of carbon fiber.

Before F1 switched over to the 2.4L V-8 this season the cars all carried 3.0L V-10s. They typically turned over 19K RPM and produced over 900HP. The BAR Honda in the video was carrying a V-10.

2005 F1 Car:
900HP/600kg = 1.5HP/kg

K1200s (from http://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk)
160HP
248kg unladen bike, fully fueled
80kg rider

160HP/(248kg+80kg) = 0.48 HP/kg
