2001 k1200 lt

I don't have a BMW currently but one of my previous bikes was a R1100R. I am looking at a 2001 K1200 LT. How is the engine heat on these? Do you inner thighs get hot? Ankles? Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this. I did search for engine heat but didn't see anything related to my inquiry.

I have a 1997 K1200RS, and the cooling system on the LT looks very similar.

The two radiators convect their heat out through the vents either side of the fairing - really useful for drying your gloves when stuck at traffic lights in rain with the fans blowing. No unwanted heat issues anywhere with this bike. DMc.

Agreed, no excess heat unless you want it on a cold day. In that case push the transparent plastic wings below the mirror out, away from the bike. Warm air will be directed to your shins. Otherwise, leave those wings tucked close to the bike.
