Womens Summer Jacket

The wife came home from a local bike shop with a off brand mesh jacket. Looking at the label all it said was 100% polyester. Anyway, that aint going on my best friend, so how about perforated leather? Anyone done any research on this topic and have a recommendation?

I would check www.vansonleathers.com . you may find a good deal at www.newenough.com also. i don't think you can go wrong with vanson - leather or mesh.

I ride with one of those mesh jackets and surprisingly it worked great when I had a low speed get off and still looks great.
A leather type outfit would be best, but some of those mesh jackets now use Kevlar and IMO would be just as good as a one of the leather jackets for protection and a lot cooler.

Marsee makes a very nice full flow outfit that I'd look at, if I was in the market for a new summer jacket.
FYI: Most of the companies that make leather race suits have perforated ones for the racers to use in the warmer months.
