While it might seem like a useless gimmick for buyers in the States (where most people have their own garage that was designed with large cars in mind), here in Europe you will find many private and public parking garages where even mid-sized cars will not enter (and still leave room for you to get out).

Many parking garages have been built in the basement of buildings that were constructed BEFORE the advent of cars, or at least before they were larger and available to the masses. I personally wouldn't mind one of those gadgets, it would sure make life easy in many parking situations in Spain.

Lets say I pull up to the tight parking spot and get out, hit the little button and my new bemmer pulls in beside that 1972 ford F250 that doesn't have the ability to "auto unpark" I see somebody having to squeeze their fat arse into their truck and banging, scratching and stepping on my beemer.. and then spitting on it because I parked so darn close....granted, it would come in handy in my garage at home.
