Video: First attempt....comments

The bike is the LT, so it's a bit slow paced.

Check out this clip... 3:44 long....starts bit slow...i.e. "the speed limit", but gets better.

When you comment, please be kind....first m/c video and first attempt at editing.

Keep an eye out for the decreasing radius turn toward the end.

BTW it was shot in High Def and I cut it from 677MB to 9.9MB so it may look a bit grainy.

Can you open any of the ".wmv" files on this site?

It is a bit large, 10MB so it takes awhile to load to your computer.

If I select the next one called "small flames", it comes up just fine. The large file is not bad, Cable internet. I am not getting any indication that there is anything at the links destination.

sorry, I think I misled you... the original link works, goes to the movie "click board" with a link to the wmv, it is that link that does not play. sorry.
I will keep trying though, I am a videofile myself so I like to see what people do. I am about to start editing video from the rally.

You're right!

Hey Chilei, I tested it when I first posted and it worked, but I can't get it to work now either. Even deleted it and re-uploaded, but still won't run.

Here is a LINK over to the LT site with the clip there. If you've logged on there and have a "cookie" you should get right in.

Try, Try Again...

Very cool Gossen!

I put mine there as well. Here is the LINK.

You need to shrink the view size to the small size and it's not too grainy.

I went to it from the LT site, looks great, the only thing that I have negative to say is the sirius antenna in the screen, with that being the only negative I can come up with... you have done Great! Much better than my first several attempts.

I saw your questions regarding the engine sounds. Radio Shack sells a small lapel mic that is powered by a hearing aid battery, and has a clip to wear on a lapel. I take this mike, place it up in the fairing to the front (very protected from the wind) place the mike so it is facing the engine. The air does not swirl up where I put it (Ill try to mount it tomorrow and show you what I mean, maybe even get some good video to put up for you as well!) With the mike facing the engine you will get no wind and all the engine sounds! I am wanting to ry some other options as well. I have a transmitter that I am looking to use, goes wirelessly to the camera. Ill try to put up some pictures of what I am talking about if I am able to ride tomorrow. I am a geek and love doing videos, also love looking for ways to get different shots, angles, media, quality. I am also interested in seeing other people's ideas.

Talk to you soon!
Kyle
