The article says that ASC controls how much torque is applied on limited traction surfaces (I'm OK with this so far) to STOP the motorcycle. I thought it was to limit wheel slip under acceleration. No? I thought ABS was to limit braking (STOPPING) effect on limited traction surfaces.
ASC stops the motorcycle (reducing power)
ABS do the opposite i.e. let the motorcycle run (reducing breaking)
Both are applied when there are limited traction and either too much power or too much breaking are applied by the driver.
Make sense in my world ;-)
