Material for filling scratches before painting?
I've searched all the permutations I could think of and didn't find anything right on this topic. I've got some scratches from 2 tip-overs that I am going to try to improve the appearance of myself. I've got some touch-up paint on the way and I already have a new checkerboard decal to replace the side that got scratched up. I'm going to try using Langka (see langka.com) to assist in smoothing the touched up paint. Two of the scratches are from rocks that gouged the fairing when it fell, and I need to fill those in a bit before I touch up the paint. Should I use Bondo, or is there another material that is better or easier to work with?
I'm going to separately need to research what to use to lubricate under the sticker to assist in positioning. I believe Griot's sells a spray, and I've heard diluted baby shampoo in a spray bottle. Gotta figure that out.
I'd be grateful for any advice on he above...
