Which bolts loosen up on the rack?

I know there's been talk in the past about K12GT rack bolts loosening up and the need to put locktite on them, but I couldn't find an exact description of which bolts actually loosen up. I'm putting a bmw "claw" type mount on the rack and want to make sure I don't lose it!

So I took some pictures and put lines and numbers to all of the bolts I could find holding the rack on. Anyone help by identifiying which are the problematic ones? thanks!

The ones you have labeled 1 and 2 are the ones which loosened up on mine. After I tightened them, they never loosened up again. I suspected they were not tightened up enough when the rack was installed.

I put purple Loctite on the visible rack screws (1 & 2) and was done with them.

I don't believe they effect the sturdiness of the rack itself. They help to support the sidebag brackets.

#1 & #2 for me also Jim. I was quite surprised to see how far they had backed out before I caught them.
