2-Way Seat Adjustment

OK- all you experienced hands... can someone tell me how to adjust the seat to get it in the upper position.

I must not be holding my mouth right....

Bike on centerstand

Seat completely unlatched.
Put the front end of the seat behind the tank, then the rear on the latch. Push straight down to latch position "1". Lift the middle of the seat up against the stop. Shove forward, but not so hard that the bike comes off the center stand. That should put the seat in the upper position and also into latch position "2".

Go for a ride.

Yeah, you do have to hold your mouth just right...

Here's how I got it from http://www.k-bikes.com/forums/showpo...76&postcount=3
"...Standing behind the bike, place the seat into position, turn the key in the seat lock to drop it into the lock mechanism, then raise the front of the seat and slide it forward into (feeling for) the upper channel to lock it in. You'll get the feel after a couple of tries..." - GCurtis

For some reason, standing behind the bike helps me.
