I have the later type mirror on my 2001 model. How does the switchgear come off so I can tighten up the mirror?

You don't need to remove the switchgear to tighten the mirror. There's an allenhead bolt head that is recessed in the underside of the switchgear. You'll need an allen wrench to tighten this bolt.

Sierra Cement: Good for skis, bad for knees.
