Lower Radiator Hose Rubs Fairing

I have a 2004 K1200RS with 28,000 miles and I was doing a 3 year service and found the lower right radiator hose is being rubbed by the fairing. (See pictures)

I had posted this problem some years ago when I owned a 2002 K1200RS that had a simular problem. So I was looking for the rub.

I wrapped the lower hose with plastic protector to prevent more damage. (See pictures)

Watch your hose!!!

Hey mine's a red bike too!.........

If the hose is rubbing it probably hasn't been 'adjusted' properly at the water pump connection.

Or the bike hase been dropped right side and pushed the plastics and radiator out of alignment.

Ditto on my 2003 K1200rs. Currenty at the dealer for service work, including using my BMW NA extended warranty. Will post the findings and solution offered by the dealer. At the present time I put some adhesive foam tape on the inside of the fairing in order to cushion the area of the hose in question.
