Deer Riders

Hey Gang,
Thought I would share this with you all. It was sent to me by a good friend in Pa.
Please be very careful and ride heads-up. I had one of these tree rats leap in front of me in Virginia as I was coming out of a right hander. I saw the flash of the black stripe in its tail and that alerted me. I picked up on that from my hunting years. All I can say is “Thank God for ABS”. I’d never own a bike without it. When you can get on the binders hard in the middle of a turn and can stop flat footed staring down your adversary, it’s a beautiful thing. Please take care.

Jim S.

Deery me(pun), what a mess. That accident certainly took a long time to finish! Glad to hear it had a happy ending!

Over here in Australia we have to contend with kangaroos which are currently in plague proportions. I did see a Goldwing many years ago in Alice Springs that argued with a buffalo about road crossing rights. It was a tie.

Keep the rubber side down.
