Anybody ever see this?

'04 GT....68,000 miles
Had the skin off last weekend and discovered this.
What happened? Just the paint I hope!

egad !

What happens when you touch it? Does it give ?

If it's just the paint bubbling, I wonder whats going on underneath ???

Looks like oxidation...and the paint is lifting.......if you prick it with a pin....youll probly get a whit dust......have to pull and blast it and redo the paint....that sucks...but thank god its where its easy to get to...and pull off......

Question paint Bubbles

The same exact thing appears on the paint to the valve cover of my BMW 525i. Nothing to worry about...

It's soft, like a blister....gonna see if my extended warranty will cover it.

No go with the extended warranty.....they say if it happened within the first year, it would be covered.

that sucks.....but.....if you lived in the northeast you would have 3-4 months to mess with it........SNOW SUCKS!!!...comming down like crazy as i sit here.....gotta shovel....

Its under the fairing. You cant see it unless you take the fairing off. Fix what you have going on in those spots and put it back together and ride. Could be worse, like on the outer fairing or on parts that are visible when its back together.
