Smile 03 Gt..need leg comfort

New to your great site...I have an 03 KGT which I have had for 2 yrs. Put a 4+ shield on it...bar backs and a Russel day long....(my package kept hitting the tank).....at 6ft 2...220 lbs. and just had my 59th Birth yesterday. now I would like to have a little more leg room...not down..... just out front a little. Has anyone made any more leg room for driver....I had a K100LT....K1100LT but love the GT a lot more...So didnt buy another LT.....Thank for any help

Hello:

I have a very similar package on my 04GT. I have Suburban II Barbacks, a AeroFlow Screen and a Russell Daylong Seat. What I have also added are peg lowers that I got from Pirates Website. I am also 6'2" and weigh in at around 200 lbs. Lowering the pegs an inch made a big difference - give it a try.

Thanks for the reply guys....I could try the Pirates Lair....but rather go out than down....Hanshi...how do you like your back rest? Was thinking of getting one...next time in the Lake Shasta area...where the Russells are made about 300 miles from me....
