2003 K1200RS Heated Grips

I have a 2003 K1200RS with heated grips. The left grip is not working......is there a procedure for trouble shooting this. Thanks

If your throttle miester turns you can break the wire it the grip. to start trouble shooting i would unplug the grips plug and check for voltage switch on on low when on high, there should be say 8 volts then 12volts, then check ohms at the grip side you should get a reading "not open" also check them to ground that should read open. lots of luck
