Bought a bike this past week. It's a '99 K1200RS in graphite metallic, one previous owner with 12K miles. Bought through a local dealership.

Great bike. Power delivery is butter smooth, handling is acceptable, and riding position is comfortable so far.

I'm planning to fiddle with the shock settings a little next week, and I still have a question about the long-term comfort of the saddle. I do want to get a Throttlemeister for the bike so if anyone has one they'd like to get rid of, let me know. Finally, I need to figure out how to mount my HP iPaq 310 GPS on the bike and connect it to power. And of course the bike needs a complete detail. Paint is a little spiderwebbed and the bike in general is a little dirtier than I'd like.

Aside from that I'm happy.

Pics below, taken near the DuPage VOR.

Sweet ride

Nice bike Mike....I am sure you will love it. Try for a mount, they have a pretty good selection.
