Chrome Gauge rings...

Ok folks, you know the chrome rings around the gauges on the '03 gt's... well after months of owning the bike, I noticed that there isnt one on the gas gauge. Ever since I noticed this, it's driving me crazy! has anyone found a place where I could order one? I'm assuming it came stock with the three, since every picture I've seen has been that way. It looks as if the one on the Temp gauge will fit on the gas gauge. any ideas?

The chrome rings are aftermarket. The OEM gauges have a chrome coating applied directly to the instrument bezel. The chrome discolors after a while. Someone came up with an aftermarket trim ring that applies over the gauges and covers the discolored chrome.

Sierra Cement: Good for skis, bad for knees.

A&S is still selling them at $74.00 a set of four. You install them using clear silicone. They look great!!http://www.ascycles.com/detail.aspx?ID=43470

wait a minute - it took you months to realize that some german beancounter decided to go only 3/4 of the way ? yikes.

the missing chrome ring is one of the K mysteries that will probably never be solved.

keep safe. cheers.

ahhhh, I knew I had seen them in the past, but had forgot the location. The price is a little steep, but the one naked gauge is going to drive me crazy...
