Retro Fit heated grips

My brother in law has a 1999 K1200RS.

He wants to retro fit BMW original heated grips.

The cost of the kit is 270 Euro but they want 220 Euro to fit.

He wants to know

How easy are they to fit?

Do you get full instructions with the kit?

Has anyone on this forum done the fit and was it worth while?

Thanks in advance
