Question Help Installing GT Fairing 1st time.

2003 K1200GT I am having a problem installing fairing? This is the first time Iíve tried, need some instructions. The hand proctors, right and left donít fit into the fairing like they should. The small tabs on the bottom donít want to go in. They go just fine when I try with the internal covers off. But covers on, as they should be, with screws tight or left lose. I canít get the hand protectors to pull down all the way. The front tab is always up leaving a large gap between it and the fairing. What am I doing wrong?

...if your talking about the rubber strips...they dont go into any thing....they just rest along the side...hope thats what your talking about?..if not?...nother thing....some of those screws hold both parts...if you try and put screws in to early it wont work...think its the upper most screw that has to go into both....

Can you take some pictures and post them? THe hand guards rest on top of the inner panels that go around the gauges. Two screws hold the inner panels in place and the outer screw holes are what you position the handguards over. I can't figure out, though, what you mean by tabs.
