Angry Removing Meta 357t

Hi Guys
The meta 357t fitted to my K1200rs has died, reprogramming and new fobs have not worked and today i had to be trailered home, all I want to do now is to remove the pile of crap! Can anyone out there provide any info? ( ps im not a thief trying it on, you will find many previous threads in my name)

Peterb - I would criticise anybody who posted instructions to defeat an immobiliser as it puts everybody who has a similar product at risk of having their bike stolen.

Manufacturers/installers deliberately hide the way they install and connect their wiring. If you contact an 'authorised' installer they should help you. I fully understand why they do this, although it's frustrating when a unit fails. These units are quite complicated and there are usually detailed instructions as to how to setup emergency disarm e.g if the keyfob battery dies. If you inadvertently didn't follow the correct procedure or entered wrong codes , sometimes they deliberately 'lock out' until you follow their reset procedure. Have a look here:
