Ztechnik exhaust chip is great!

I bought a used K12RS and opened up the Ztechnik exhaust since i hated the sound and it was backfiring. I noticed that 90% of the fiberglass was gone. Rather than paying $60.00 for the Ztechnik packing, I bought a generic repack from a kawasaki dealer. I hated the sound even more afterwards. Plus, not having the right stuff installed really bothered me. I also hated how the bike transitioned from 1st gear to 2nd. It felt like someone was holding me back.
One of the guys at Ztechnik offered me the chip for $99.00 (a bargain). So I bought the correct repack for $60.00 and installed the chip. It's like a new bike! Runs great and no hesitation between 1st and 2nd. No backfire ether. Never underestimate buying the correct factory parts. I'm a bargain hunter as well, but some things are best when using factory parts.

This is true. Also, usually you get what you pay for.
