Best manual

What is the best manual for engine work for the 2004 K1200 GT. I would like to begin performing my own maintainance, ie. engine, clutch, tranny, brakes.

Clymer's is the best, but you do need the factory one for reference on some things. To me the factory ones are worthless on their own unless you already know what you are doing.

Cheep Clymer Manuals

For those who need a Clymer Manual as discussed, Ebay UK has them at under half price with good shipping rates.
I just purchased from Amazon US last week and paid twice as much (bugger).
Here;s the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BMW-K1200RS-G...d=p3286.c0.m14

Ebay item 250475991802

They also have the book ending for 2005 models (the one I bought)
Hope this helps someone.
Best wishes all.

I received my Clymer manual yesterday, and its an excellent reference.
A must have if your going to do any work on the bike yourself.

Clymer AND factory CD.

There are some things not covered in Clymer which are in the CD and vice-versa.

The Clymer electrical wiring diagrams have some errors but ok for most things. I tend to rely most on the BMW paper wiring diagrams which seem the most accurate for my '97KRS.
