putting the bembro's back on the front wheel

They were hard to get off. Seem to have to work them back and forth.
Is there a trick to getting them back on when I put the front wheel back?

.......but first make sure you lift the master cylinder reservoir cover and check there is enough room for the fluid to go back and not spill over. Take some out with a clean turkey baster if not sure, then top up when finished.

If your pads are worn, there will be a build up of brake dust and general road grime on the edge of the exposed piston. Good idea to thoroughly clean the pistons with some [relatively] neutral degreaser with an old tooth brush and rinse off before pushing back the pistons, otherwise you will drag the grime behind the seals and increase seal wear. Especially important when swapping out old pads for new.
