Rider peg lowering kit for my K1200gt 2003

I've been riding baggers for 4 years and just got my first sport tourer. I'm adapting to the new seating position and trying to get comfortable on the bike. I'm 6'0 tall and have barbacks on the handlebars (no cable lengthening required) . I was thinking of lowering the pegs but am concerned about ground clearance issues. I've already hit the tip of boots when going thru corners and not placing the balls of my feet on the pegs. Can anyone share their experience with this modification and what brands I might consider.
Thanks. Great forum ..
Jeff

Are your pegs at the lower setting already? They have two positions. It had been a while since I was on a sporty bike before my GT as well. I messed with the ergos, but am slowly moving back to original with getting my seating position back into the proper position. This bike needs you to lean into it, sitting up is not what it was designed for. I have a few pains that I self induced I think, and as I go back to the slightly crouching position, am starting to get into a nice feel.

I found pegs to be a godsend for us taller guys. You will scrape a
little sooner but not too bad unless you ride very agressively.

These are made by American Machine.
They lower the pegs about 1.25" and forward about .5". They work for me. Only dragged them once when pushing it hard.
