F800st...

I've been looking into the F800ST - Not a bad looking bike with a ton of attractive features such as 192 KG dry weight, 60 mpg and good ergos. Should be reasonably priced too.

It strikes me as a bike that would make a good commuter but would be more than capable for a longer summer ride.

Is the women on the bike an option?

Thumbs down First-year model

I'd wait until the 2nd or 3rd year for BMW to "upgrade" the design.

I agree on waiting. Look at the problems with the first run of K12RS bikes. You should NEVER buy a first year model unless you just absolutely dont care if you have to take it back. The K12S hasnt had problems yet, although I doubt any have hit higher than 20K... but it needs refinement, and cruise control, etc... all which BMW typically adds halfway into the run to "freshen" up the model.

You would be wrong on that bet, cause someone around here had 24k 2-3 months ago if my memory serves me
