Cycle Gadgets Light Switch

Which of the light switches for PIAA lights listed by Cycle Gadgets is recommended? I'm getting the 1100s but not sure which switch to get for my 03 KRS. Thanks much for the input.

I did not know there was more than one switch, is there ?? . My Cycle Gadget invoice says the SKU# is: AS-5NCY (Autoswitch 5NCY BMW Turn Signal Cancel trigger version).

Just checked: http://www.cyclegadgets.com/ (AutoSwitch for K12RS) is yes, the
5NCY. Says for '02's and up ^.

The Autoswitch works great. Be sure to ground it to the battery. The subframe that holds the front fairing on does NOT provide a sufficient ground path. Take your time, read the directions. DAMHIK!

I have the AS-5NCY-BMW. I see they have a new model with the same number, labeled as dual press. I have the older single press switch - press and hold the cancel button for 1-2 seconds. Either will work, just depends on how you want to operate the cancel button.

I just ordered an Autoswitch. It comes in 2 versions, the second being a bit more expensive. Basic model is single switch (one 'channel') - switch one light (or 2 piaa's connected together). Second model is like 2 channels so you can switch a second light set e.g fork lights, independently by holding the cancel switch for longer. Both do the same job for a single 'channel' installation.

Thanks. I'll go with the BMW version single push activator. Appreciate the feedback.
