New bike. Thanks Kbikes.com

The advice and information found here, over the last week, brought me to today's purchase of a one owner, 14,000 mile 2003 K1200GT.
My experience riding it a hundred miles home showed all your input was spot on so far. Good and not so good.
Anyway...I love the bike. Even more than my former, greatly loved, Ducati ST4S.
First big trip...going to the Barber Vintage Festival with a few extra days in Deals Gap area. Oh Boy....

Sweet! Don't forget those QD's before you go. Don't want to see this:

Not all who wander are lost. Which still leaves room for more than a few lost wanderers...

Yep. Good advice. Caution. Leave the all out driving and riding for track days. Ya never know what is lurking around the next corner or who is pulling out to pass that vehicle coming at you even if your personal riding skills are at a pro level.

My wife calls it the "money" color. Must be true, the ladies like it.

Isn't "Grau Gruen" German for "sexy money"? Or maybe "sex and money"? Either way, you definitely got the high-class color in the brick GTs!

Best,

Don't know. But I'm pretty sure GS stands for Grosse Scheisse in German.

Blue was my first choice but condition of a used vehicle is always number one. And this grey green one is near perfect low mileage but not too low.
That being said I am glad I have the grey green now. Unique and sharp looking....and yes my wife loves the color and though I have not driven a blue or red one I am convinced this color is fastest

My other BMW pic......
